A Visionary Justice Celebration

The Houston Coalition Against Hate is celebrating our fifth anniversary with our inaugural Visionary Justice Celebration and fundraiser!

Join us during United Against Hate Week and help us celebrate the diversity that makes Houston strong. During this celebration, we will recognize the first honorees of the Visionary Justice Award, Nikkolas Smith, contemporary artist, illustrator, activist, author of The Artivist and Donna Fujimoto Cole, philanthropist, visionary, community connector, and founder of Cole Chemical.

We will also honor our first James Byrd Jr Changemaker Award recipient, Laurence J. “Larry” Payne who has demonstrated their commitment to nurturing compassion and belonging.

Where:

Located at 535 Portwall, the Houston Food Bank is a 308,000 square foot facility that is the home and starting point for the distribution of nutritious food to hunger relief partners.
